He's Finally Walking!!!

Not that I am overly eager for my baby to start walking, but I was beginning to wonder if he was ever going to break forth and do so.
Last Friday, July 25th he turned officially 14 months. He has been walking a little here and there about 8-10 steps consistently for the last 2 weeks or so. But the last couple days he seems to walk everywhere!!! He will crawl if he falls, but as soon as he can stand up again, he is off!
He just grins at you and he knows he doing something cool, and I am sure he feels like a big man with a new power. Although you will notice, the balance isn't quite there without the tongue meticulously hanging out.
He is such a cutie though!!

On a better note.....A Day with Friends!

When we moved to Sanpete County a year ago, I was excited because my best friend from high school also lived here. We had kept in touch, but not as frequently as I would have liked.

Well, after talking about getting together for a year, we finally did it!!! She had been Preston's 3rd grade teacher, so we talked often, and saw each other a lot. Then when we actually moved to Moroni in March, we have been in her ward. That has been a lot of fun.

Her sister had also moved down here last fall to teach at Snow College, so it was fun to have grown up together, and actually all be in the same place again after 15 years. Kind of ironic actually--in Moroni, Utah of all places. Anyway, we decided to just meet at my house, and let the kids all play, and have lunch and chat!

It was a blast! Thanks guys for coming over, I loved it!!!!!

P.G.-Ephraim-Moroni-P.G.????

Well, I still can't believe this is happening!

This lovely house you see posted above, may once again be resided in by us. For some odd reason it will not sell. We have dropped the price many times, and almost had it closed once, shy of an hour. No I am not kidding....an hour. Eric and I had signed all the papers the day before. Just an hour before the buyers were to close the unthinkable happened. He got sued! Needless to say he didn't want to have another house in his name to worry about.

We were devastated, but, thinking something better would be out there, we kept on going. So far it has been shown at least 3 times a week, and many have really liked it and nothing. Even after our last price drop we can't seem to move it, no matter how much interest we pull.

We have made the decision that maybe we are supposed to be back in P.G. We don't know what else to think. We are going to give things until the 5th of August, as it is killing us to make 2 house payments. Our lease is up in Moroni then, so we would move back.

We have briefly discussed renting it again, but we had such a poor experience last time that we are steering away from that.

If we move back in we can at least keep it and not keep losing more money. We also want to figure things out before the kids start school. What a crazy life we lead.

All I can say is pray for us, because we need all the help we can get!!! Ha Ha

Hide & Seek

Here is Cade the other day, looking in the cupboard for something he knows is very important for him to find. He looked a bit nervous thinking he was stuck for a second, but very happy and mischevious when he was free.

Something tells me this won't be the last time he tries this one!

P.S. Please don't forget to notice our beautiful red and green plaid carpet. We are especially proud of the decor in our home......NOT! Gotta love rentals! :-)

Josey Comes to Visit!!!

We were so excited to have Josey come and visit for 3 whole weeks! She even got to bring the baby Traevon, so we could all get to know him. He is a little sweetie! We haven't been doing much except going to baseball games it seems like, but we did take a trip up to Wyoming for a week over the 4th so she could get to see more family.
Enjoy some pics!!

Three Strikes You're Out!

Moroni A's T-Ball finishes up the season. Alyssa had so much fun, and loves to hit and run the bases. As you can see by the above picture sometimes it takes more than one swing! :-)

Today she had a huge wad of gum in her mouth, so as she is running she is trying to chew. I guess she fits in perfect with the baseball crowd.

It has been crazy trying to keep up with all the games and practices for the 3 of them. I am so glad we are done for awhile!
