Preston's team also had a fun season, but didn't make it to the tournament. Preston had a great year though, learned a lot, and hopefully made a few friends!!

Here he stands ready in the outfield, then stepping up to the plate, Preston is going to give it all he's got.

He did awesome this year, and if he keeps practicing he'll be even better next year!

Moroni Angels

Jaida's Moroni baseball team closed out the year in the Lion's Tournament in Ephraim! They took 2nd place, and got cool little trophies! The last game was a barn burner, but Mt. Pleasant ended up winning by 2 runs. The final score was 8 to 6.

Jaida played a great game, with a double, and an RBI single! She's my little lefty, and she did great!

Congratulations Jaida!!!

It's A Party!!!

I can't believe it. On May 25th my baby turned 1. He is getting so big so fast, and I am not ready!

It is tradition in my family to have a jello cake on their 1st birthday. He isn't quite sure what he's supposed to do with it! Ha Ha

Thanks to everyone who came, it was a fun time, and it was good to see everyone.

We celebrated it at Grandma and Grandpa Robison's in Pleasant Grove.

Cade is 1!!!!

I can't believe my baby is 1 year old. He is growing up WAY to fast. He is so close to walking, but hasn't taken that first step yet. He is just your typical little toddler! Loves to get into everything and follow you around, so watch out when you turn around or you may step on him!



We celebrated his 1st Birthday at his Grandpa and Grandma Robison's house in Pleasant Grove. It was so much fun! Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate the day with us! We love you!

Grandma & Grandpa Saul came to visit!!

Eric's mom and dad are making their way back up to Wyoming, and were able to stop and see us for a few weeks!
We have been thoroughly enjoying their visit, and are sorry to see them getting ready to leave in the next few days.

They hadn't seen Cade since he was about 4 days old, so that was a big change!

Housing Woes Continued!

Well, we just thought we'd give a quick update on the drama we seem to be facing with our house.

It was unfortunate that we had to notify the renters that we really needed to try selling again. But in our defense, they hadn't paid any utilities since they moved in 4 months ago, and our property manager had a very difficult time collecting rent for the month of March.

As of the 7th of April he still hadn't received rent for this month, and their only phone had been cancelled so we had no way of contacting them. They wouldn't ever call him back if he left notes on the door, and he would go over and they wouldn't be home or even answer the door. It has truly been a nightmare.

They still have never paid any kind of rent for this month, and they have been served a 30 day eviction notice, and a 3 day eviction notice. The next step would be an unlawful detainer served by the court, but without being able to hand it to them in person, it can't be done.
They have moved most everything out, but left quite a mess, not allowing it to be shown yet. Our property manager has told our realtor she could show it, but it was definately not in a position to be shown.

It is definately frustrating, and I could go on and on. Hopefully we can get things all squared around in the next couple days, and get moving. We feel quite discourgaed to have missed this much selling time in a peak season. (At least as peak as it can get these days.)

Housing problem hitting home

Well, even with all the housing problems in the US, last Fall I decided to sell my house and move to a different county. I know, what was I thinking? Well, if it's not bad enough that I have to try and sell in this market, I was trying to sell and nothing happened for months. Since I don't have deep pockets, I decided to rent it for about 6 months or so. Well, I decided to get some help renting it, so I hired a property management company to help me get it rented. It worked, they rented it and made the renters sign a 1 year contract. They assured me that all I would have to do is let the renters know 30 days once the home sold before we closed, so they would have time to move out. Well that sounds all great unless you have real twits for renters. I wanted to put the house back on the market in the spring, cause it is the best time to sell. But the renters will not let the realtor in to see, or show the house. So I had to evict the idiots just to be able to get the house shown to potential buyers. I was even willing to drop their rent while they had to go through the trouble of showing it. It still was not good enough for them. So by the time we get them out and finally have it ready to show it might be summer :(
